At noon on Sunday, August 25, 1968 eight soviet citizens gathered at Red Square of Moscow with banners to protest against the occupation of Czechoslovakia. Within few minutes they were attacked and assaulted by KGB men, an then taken to a police station. After house searches and weeks of imprisonment the demonstrating people were sentenced from three to five years in exile or forced labor camps. Two of them were committed to prison psychiatric clinics.
